Arc Box Vaults: Global Search and Full File Support Now Live

Two foundational capabilities are now live in Arc Box Vaults: global search across your entire decentralized enterprise vault, and full file support inside the same governed environment where your ARC Containers live. Together, they address the two requirements that determine whether a vault is operationally useful — can your team find what is inside it, and can it hold everything your organization needs to certify.

What This Release Does

Most enterprise storage systems separate search from the record layer — files live in one place, certified documents in another, and the query surface covers neither reliably. Auditors and compliance officers end up navigating folder trees instead of searching verified assets. Findability is an afterthought.

Arc Box Platform takes a different position. Your decentralized enterprise vault is only as useful as your ability to locate what is inside it. Global Vault search now spans your entire Arc Box instance — including a critical fix that ensures certified ARC Containers are correctly indexed and surfaced in results. Records that have completed the certification flow are findable alongside all other Vault contents, without exception. A view mode persistence fix ensures your navigation state is maintained as you move through the Vault, eliminating the context loss that breaks audit and review sessions.

File support extends Arc Box Vaults beyond ARC record management. Files can now be stored, managed, and accessed directly inside your Vault — the same tamper-evident environment where your ARC Containers live. This closes the gap between raw file storage and certified record management, and lays the foundation for direct Vault-to-ARC conversion.

Getting Started

Both capabilities are available today for all Arc Box Platform subscribers. Global search is accessible from the Vault view in your Enterprise Admin Console — no configuration required. File support is enabled by default for all Vaults. Navigate to Arc Box → Vaults to begin searching your certified records and uploading files directly into your decentralized enterprise vault.
