Arc Engine Certification API: Now in Production
The Arc Engine Certification API is in production. External clients can now certify documents through the Headless Arc Engine API — triggering the full certification pipeline that transforms files into tamper-proof, on-chain-anchored Authentic Record Containers with a cryptographic chain your auditors and regulators can independently verify.
What the Certification API Does
Most enterprise certification workflows are internal — a document moves through an approval chain, a signature is applied, and the record is stored in a system your organization controls. That record is trusted internally. It is not independently verifiable. When an auditor, regulator, or counterparty needs to confirm the document has not changed since certification, the answer is a PDF and a promise.
The Arc Engine Certification API is different. It is the tokenization layer that transforms your organization's documents into permanent, intelligent digital assets — with public on-chain hashes that any authorized party can verify without relying on Archivista infrastructure. Each certify request processes up to 203 files, hashes each file for tamper-evidence, and anchors the record on-chain. Capacity validation and SSRF protection are enforced at the API boundary, ensuring your certification pipeline meets the security posture enterprise and regulated-industry deployments require. Every inference, every verification, every audit trace leads back to a specific on-chain record — with a cryptographic chain you can present in court or to a regulator.
Key Capabilities
- Production Certification API — Submit files for certification through the Headless Arc Engine API; the full pipeline runs server-side, producing ARC-verified records anchored on-chain with public hashes.
- Public on-chain hashing — File hashes are recorded publicly on-chain, enabling independent third-party verification without requiring access to your Arc Box Platform instance.
- Up to 203 files per request — Batch certification supports large document sets in a single API call, reducing round-trip overhead for high-volume compliance and audit workflows.
- Capacity validation and SSRF protection — Ingestion limits and server-side request forgery protections are enforced at the API boundary, meeting enterprise security requirements out of the box.
- Ingestion upload and media size controls — Upload caps and media size limits are enforced at ingestion, keeping Arc Storage consumption aligned with your organization's allocated capacity.
Getting Started
The Certification API is available today in production for all Arc Engine subscribers. API access is provisioned through your Archivista account representative. Submit your first certify request with up to 203 files and retrieve the on-chain attestation reference for each certified record. Verification tooling and SDK support for client-side attestation confirmation are in active development and will ship in the next release.
